This months product of the month is this huge, superb, very heavy weight glass and solid silver inkwell bottle. The bottle bears the hallmark of John Grinsell and the date which appears to be 1897. The markings inside the lid details Drew & Sons of Piccadilly.
Ink bottle comes complete with clear glass insert liner
Measurements in imperial are approx 4 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches x 3 5/8 inches tall including top. (Approx 114mm x 114mm x 90mm approx)
The bottle is solid glass and weighs 2,216 grams which is approx (4.88 pounds)
This ink bottle has been used but is in fantastic condition with no chips, fleabites etc especially for a piece that is 127 years old.
